Since its origin Tucana Construction was involved in a variety of projects, ranging from industrial buildings to schools, hospitals, lodge-type and residential developments. Of our more outstanding projects were additions to Philadelphia Hospital at Dennilton in 1992 (R11m), renovation of Witbank Prison (R13m) in 2002 and the Danie Theron Building in Heidelberg (R11m) in 2005. More recently we have completed additions to Eastvaal Motors (R5.5m) in Middelburg, and we have completed a residential complex in the same city to the value of R15m. We aim to work together with professional teams to be of service to clients throughout the Gauteng and Mpumalanga regions

If required, we have the expertise to put together projects of turnkey basis. Our resources enables us to handle projects of a value of R80m.

Tucana was established in 1982 by a civil engineer who left the ranks of the professional engineers to become more involved in the hands-on environment of the construction Industry. Surviving the strenuous times of the mid eighties and throughout most of the nineties, Tucana proved to be stronger and more purposeful.

Our name, "Tucana" images the looks of a milky way, but the body a group of bright starts representing the different trades in the industry. This fits our vision never to compromise on quality, and to keep within the restraints of time and budget. Our mission is to hand over a project of superior quality to every satisfied client, within time and budget limitations.
